The national spokesperson of the Congress of the People, Dennis Bloem has hit back at the Acting Public Protector’s report which exonerates ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa of any wrong-doing in the Phala-Phala robbery.
Adv. Gcaleka briefed the media at the chapter nine institutionโs offices in Tshwane where she made her findings public on Friday.
“The Phala-Phala scandal of President Cyril Ramaphosa will haunt the ANC forever just like the Inkandla scandal of former President Jacob Zuma.
“Whether the Acting-Public Protector Kholeka Gcaleka has cleared President Cyril Ramaphosa or not, we know that this Phala-Phala robbery on the farm of President Cyril Ramaphosa could have never been exposed if the ANC was united.

“It is because of factional in fights that Arthur Fraser went to the police station and laid criminal charges against President Ramaphosa.
“Corruption in the ANC is tearing the country apart. The report and findings of acting public protector is not the end of the Phala-Phala saga.
“We believe the courts will have the last say on the Phala-Phala robbery,” he concluded.
