The Rustenburg Community Development Trust [RCDT], with Valterra Platinum and Education support, hosted a one-day expo featuring entertainment, panels, and demos to inspire learners about diverse career paths.

From the morning plenary programme to dynamic panel sessions and the buzzing Demo/Innovation Hub, the day was packed with real conversations, practical insights and hands-on experiences.

Pupils explored exciting pathways in higher education, technology, agriculture, engineering, culinary arts, comics, motivation and more – opening doors they never knew existed.

Grade 12 learner Bosele Saane discovered diverse career paths beyond mining at an event and now feels excited about options in tech, agriculture, and culinary arts.

Career Expo record-breaking turnout

Engaging educational exhibitions, discussions, and a Demo/Innovation Hub kept learners busy from 8:00 to 16:15, leaving them with bursary info, contacts, and new motivation.

This record-breaking turnout proves the hunger for diverse career guidance in the North West and confirms the Rustenburg Career Expo as a must-attend annual highlight for the region’s youth.

Tlhalefang Ramoroa, Trustee Board Member of the Rustenburg Community Development Trust, said they witnessed the power of unity in action.
