Two patients sustained minor injuries and were transported to hospital a motor vehicle accident in the early hours of Monday morning on Johan Le Roux Road in Sicelo, Meyerton.
According to Vaal Cert-SA, their crew responded to a call at around 01h55.
“On arrival, our members found that two vehicles had collided at a four-way crossing. Collisions at intersections are common and often caused by drivers failing to yield, ignoring traffic signals, or misjudging the speed of oncoming vehicles,” Cert-SA said.
Motorists are urged to approach intersections with caution, slow down, and ensure the road is clear before proceeding.

Meanwhile, a driver was involved in a motor vehicle accident after losing control of the car on the R59 near the Randvaal off-ramp on Sunday evening.
“It is believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle, swerved into oncoming traffic, and went down an embankment. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
“This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of staying alert and driving with caution, particularly on highways where loss of control can have severe consequences,” Cert-SA explained.
Cert-SA further reminded drivers to always adjust their speed to road conditions and remain focused on the task of driving.
