DStv Premiership side Richards Bay FC has become the latest club to make changes to the technical team ahead of the 2023/24 season by roping in Kaitano Tembo as head coach.
The Natal Rich Boys who started their maiden season’s campaign like a house on fire will be looking to the former Supersport United and Sekhukhune United for divine intervention after finishing in the thirteenth position on the league table.
The 53-year-old Zimbabwean-born mentor last coached Babina Noko where he couldn’t finish the season following a string of poor results.

His predecessor Vasili Manousakis, was sacked at the end of last season after a poor showing in the second half of the campaign.
In a statement announcing his appointment, the club said; “Kaitano is a familiar face in the South African Football, he has been in DStv Premiership with the likes of Supersport and Sekhukhune respectively”.
Tembo, who won spent 23 years at Matsatsantsa will be assisted by Siboniso Gumede.
