The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit, has sought assistance from the community in locating Palesa Ntsheyeho from Zamdela who went missing.
According to her mother the 16-year-old left her place of residence on Tuesday, March 4, at about 6:30 am going to school around the area and has never returned home till date.
Free State police spokesperson Sergeant Josephine Rani said Palesa was last seen wearing her school uniform, a maroon skirt, khaki and maroon shirt, school tracksuit top, maroon socks, black shoes, and short hair.
Rani urged anyone who may know her whereabouts to contact Captain Gift Masheka on 082 849 5496.Â
“Alternatively, call Crime Stop hotline on 08600 10111 or submit an anonymous tip-off via the MySAPS app,” she added.
Meanwhile, the Kimberley Detective Serious and Violent Crimes Unit have requested the assistance of the public in locating Abigail Charmaine Phate, who stays at Mokgeledi Street in Galeshewe.
No waiting period to report a person missing
Northern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Molefi Shemane said the 35-year-old was last seen on Saturday, March 1, at a nightclub in Kimberley.
“At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black top with a blue jean skirt,” he explained.

Shemane reminded the public that there is no waiting period to report a person missing.
