Some of the absolute musical heavyweights are gearing up to treat fans with scintillating performances during an unforgettable live music experience at Carnival City.

The blockbuster lineup features award-winning stars Sjava, Lebo Sekgobela, and Lwah Ndlunkulu, who will ignite the stage at the Big Top Arena in Boksburg on Saturday afternoon, August 1.

With thousands of fans expected to attend, the concert promises to deliver an electrifying celebration of South African music, bringing together established stars and rising talent for one unforgettable evening.

Multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Sjava is celebrated for his unique blend of Afro-soul and hip-hop, positioning him as one of South Africa’s most captivating storytellers.

His genuine and powerful sound has garnered him multiple awards and widespread international acclaim.

Adding to the excitement is celebrated gospel powerhouse Lebo Sekgobela, whose uplifting ministry and timeless worship songs continue to inspire millions across South Africa and beyond.

Best known for her soaring hit Lion of Judah, Sekgobela is set to captivate the crowd with an emotionally charged, spirit-filled set. Her passion and dedication have firmly cemented her status as a titan of South African gospel.

Her music has touched countless lives across Africa, while her passion, resilience and unwavering dedication have cemented her place as one of the country’s leading gospel artists.

Rounding out the star-studded bill is Inkabi Records’ first lady and Urban Maskandi sensation, Lwah Ndlunkulu, born Lwandile Mtshali.

The concert forms part of Thikho Events’ 14-year commitment to discovering and nurturing the next generation of South African artists.

“This concert is about more than bringing exceptional artists together on one stage. It is about celebrating South African excellence, creating opportunities for emerging talent and giving audiences an unforgettable live music experience that reflects the country’s vibrant cultural landscape,” the organisers said.

The event is scheduled to begin at 6pm, with access restricted to individuals aged 18 and over. Tickets can be purchased via Webtickets and at various selected retail outlets across the country.
