Two people were killed while two others injured in a single vehicle roll over on the N4 Schoemanskloof, Mpumalanga on Sunday.

According to Emer-G-Med paramedics, on arrival at the scene a single light motor vehicle was found to have overturned several times before coming to a rest on its roof.
“Two occupants were ejected from the wreckage and sustained fatal injuries. They were declared dead on arrival of paramedics.
“Two other occupants, suffered moderate injuries and were treated and stabilized on scene before being taken to a nearby hospital for further care”.

Meanwhile, four suspects between the ages of 25 and 43 were arrested for illegal mining during a disruptive operation at Atok under Apel Policing area on Friday.
Police spokesperson colonel Malesela Ledwaba said they arrived at the old mining shaft and found a group of people in the act of illegal mining.
“As our members were approaching, the suspects fled in different directions. Police managed to arrest four suspects for illegal mining and confiscated eight generators, 11 jackhammers and one water pump.”
The suspects will soon appear before Sekhukhune magistrate’s court.
Police investigations are still continuing.
