Hollywood Foundation to sponsor coaching course in Women’s Football

The Hollywood Foundation is set to announce partnership with the South African Football Association (SAFA) Ekurhuleni to sponsor a CAF C Licence course for women coaches and managers in women’s football.

This initiative, according to the foundation marks a significant stride in enhancing the skills of women in football coaching and management while fostering growth and empowerment in the sport.

Vuyisile Ngobese, Public Relations Officer at the Hollywood Foundation said the programme will welcome a diverse group of candidates, including coaches and managers from the Hollywoodbets super league and individuals from various regions in Gauteng.

“This diverse mix of participants aims to promote knowledge sharing and create a more inclusive football community.

“The partnership underscores the Hollywood Foundation’s commitment to empowering women in football and promoting diversity and inclusion within the sport.

“By offering specialised coaching and management education, the initiative equips women with the knowledge and skills needed to boost their qualifications and for the growth and success of women’s football in South Africa,” she explained.

Ngobese stated that the Foundation is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the community and is excited to contribute to this remarkable cause.
