A 43-year-old suspect is expected to appear in the Rustenburg Magistrates’ Court on Thursday in connection with the alleged murder of his girlfriend.
The accused’s court appearance stems from his arrest on Tuesday evening consequent to the discovery of the lifeless body of a 31-year-old female Traffic Officer who was initially reported missing.
North West Police spokesperson Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone said the victim’s body was found in the early hours of Tuesday morning, in the vicinity of Arnoldistad in Rustenburg by a K9 Unit member who was on patrol.

“Upon realising that the victim was not at home, then again failed to report for duty and that her cell phone was off, her supervisor reported her missing.”
