The case involving Bosasa’s former Chief Operations Officer Angelo Agrizzi’s R800 000 matter has been transferred to the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria.
His first appearance will be on Thursday, February 29, the Investigating Directorate confirmed.
Agrizzi was initially arrested in October 2020 for having allegedly offered former Parliamentarian Vincent Smith gratification to the value of over R800 000.
“He is the only accused in the matter as the case was separated from his co-accused Vincent smith in July 2021.
“Agrizzi currently faces two cases brought against him by the Investigating Directorate.
“His mental assessment report from Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital is also expected to be submitted to the court on February 29, 2024, in his separate R1.8 billion Bosasa and Department of Correctional Services matter, Hawks spokesperson Sindisiwe Seboka stated.

Meanwhile, the Bloemfontein High court has postponed the pre-trial of rapist and prison escapee Thabo Bester to June 5 this year.
Bester, his girlfriend Dr Nandipha Magudumana and seven co-accused are tried for Bester’s escape at the Mangaung correctional facility in May 2022.
The facebook rapist was serving life sentence at the time and was apprehended with his lover in Tanzania last year.
According to the TimesLIVE, there was no loved-up reunion for Bester and his girlfriend before the matter resumed as, Magudumana walked past her lover and embraced her father Zolile Sekeleni, who is a co-accused.
She spent most of the time before court started reading a Bible on her lap.
Bester, Magudumana and Zanda Moyo remain in custody while the rest of the accused are out on bail of R10,000 each.
