The Justice Department is urged to establish specialised courts for Madlanga Commission cases.

These courts need ethical, capable personnel who will be up to the task at hand and must be well capacitated with the necessary resources to successfully prosecute all those who will appear before the court.

We cannot take these Madlanga Commission cases as ordinary criminal cases. We are dealing with sophisticated criminal syndicates and cartels.

Mistakes of the Zondo Commission cases

The Big 5, who are well-resourced, are criminals who will employ the best legal brains to defend them. That is why the justice department must do everything possible to close all loopholes.

The country must never repeat the mistakes of the Zondo Commission cases. Many high-ranking people were implicated but are still roaming the streets. The country wants to see all these criminals in orange uniforms.

Our call comes because it is no secret that there is a huge backlog and a serious crisis in all of the courts around the country, from the Constitutional Court, High Courts and Magistrates Courts—same problem everywhere.
