Amapiano sensation Young Stunna has reached a major milestone in his career with the release of his highly anticipated sophomore album, Busisiwe.

Busisiwe, released on Wednesday, showcases his resilience and the significant impact he has made over the last five years in the music industry.
The track serves as a testament to his growth as an artist and his ability to adapt to changing musical landscapes, highlighting his influence on contemporary sounds and trends.
The album arrives exactly five years after the release of his groundbreaking debut project, Notumato, making 21 October 2026 a symbolic full-circle moment for the award-winning artist.
Over the past five years, Young Stunna, whose real name is Sandile Fortune Msimango, has evolved from a promising newcomer into one of the most influential voices in South African music.
Leading the album is the much-anticipated single “Umlenze”, while fans have also been treated to the long-awaited release of “Asivuke”, a track that has generated enormous excitement among music lovers.
Busisiwe serves as both a celebration of Young Stunna’s journey and a testament to his growth as an artist. Since the release of “Notumato”, he has consistently achieved remarkable success across various music platforms, including playlists, radio, and streaming services.
His live performances have also garnered significant attention, further enhancing his reputation.
Known for his distinctive vocal style, he effectively engages and resonates with audiences through genuine storytelling, which contributes to his widespread recognition and influence in the music industry.
Speaking about the album’s creation, Young Stunna explained why fans had to wait five years for the follow-up project.
“This album took five years because we never wanted to rush the process. The goal was never to chase numbers. It was about making music that touches people and makes people feel something positive. That’s why I started making music in the first place,” he explained.
The release follows a recent celebration of Notumato’s enduring success.
He was honoured with a special plaque presentation from Sony Music Africa, Piano Hub and Lawk Communications, recognising a series of certification milestones achieved by the album and several of its standout singles.
