Former Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu FC attacker Augustine Mulenga has joined Chippa United on a two-year contract.
The 33-year-old joins the Chilli Boys from Zambia’s NAPSA Stars ahead of the 2023/24 DStv Premiership season.
The Zambia’s goalscorer spent the last campaign on home soil following his departure from Usuthu.
Mulenga scored 16 goals and registered 26 assists in 106 games across all competitions for AmaZulu and Pirates respectively between 2018 and 2022.

Welcoming the latest acquisition on the team’s social media, Chairman Siviwe Mpengesi said, “Mulenga’s rich experience aligns perfectly with our aspirations for the forthcoming season.”
“As he steps into this new journey with us, we extend our warmest wishes to Mulenga for his tenure at the club,” he added.
The Zambian striker said he is is excited to join Chippa United.
He added, “It is one of the great clubs on the league and I’m looking forward to contributing and achieving with the club”.
Mulenga becomes the second signing for the Gqeberha-based outfit after the acquisition of winger Craig Martin from the Buccaneers.
