SANDF distances itself on coup de tat rumours
Disgraced former naval officer Sylvester Mangolele was accused of ill-discipline and charged in a military court.

This comes after a video that has been doing the rounds on social media platforms, where Mangolele claimed that President Cyril Ramaphosa has been dethroned through a coup de tat.

He accused the president of failing to uphold the constitution and the matter is of national security.

“The incumbent fifth President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa is called by Lieutenant Commander Sylvester Vulani Madala Mangolele to Gordons Bay in terms of section 34 of the constitution and the law, section 101 of the defence act to appear before the officer commanding of Naval college … in forty-eight hours.

“In 48 hours I do this to save you the embarrassment (sic) of applying section of the constitution and the law at criminal act to arrest you as a decline incapability of state through immediate direct intervention as mandated by an act of parliament.

“I am asking you to redirect all your resources and everything to the law that you have written. The law that all people must follow, the law that you are failing to uphold. You are declining to defend, you are disrespecting it as the constitution and the law.
