Six suspects involved in an armed business robbery at a liquor store in Duncanville, Vereeniging were arrested after a silver Toyota Corolla they were travelling in collided with a truck.

Law enforcement agencies confirmed a lookout was issued for the vehicle matching the description.
“Using License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras, the vehicle was tracked, and various law enforcement units mobilized to monitor and block possible escape routes.
“The suspects’ vehicle was soon spotted on Springbok Road, heading towards Kliprivier.
“As officers set up a roadblock, the suspects attempted to make a U-turn but collided with a truck, damaging their vehicle.
“The suspects immediately fled on foot, but after a brief chase, all six suspects were successfully apprehended,” a statement read.
Meanwhile, multiple people were injured in a taxi collision on the M25 near Dube Village, Inanda.

According to a report, at least three patients who sustained injuries following a serious crash on Friday afternoon.
The trio were removed from an ambulance and kept on scene after an alleged e-hailing vehicle crashed into two taxis and the driver fled.

It is further alleged that the passengers were kept on scene whilst the taxi owner awaited SAPS.
No other injuries were reported at the scene.
