Eight passengers were injured after a minibus taxi overturned on Weilbach Road, Meyerton on Sunday morning.
According to Cert-SA, their Vaal crew received a call for a motor vehicle collision around 06:30.
“Upon arrival, we found a minibus had overturned. All occupants in the vehicle had been ejected, and a total of eight patients were found lying on the scene.
“Our team assessed the patients and started stabilising on the scene. The patients had injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
“All the patients were transported to a nearby facility by ER24 and Gauteng Emergency Medical Services.”
In a separate incident, a minibus transporting eighteen people was involved in a vehicle collision when it rolled several times on Morris Road in Meyerton.
“We responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision on Sunday morning at 08:58.

“Upon arrival, we found a Minibus transporting eighteen people, which had rolled several times, ejecting multiple people.
“After exceptional teamwork by our crews, ER24, and Gauteng Emergency Medical Services, we managed to stabilise all patients and transport them to various hospitals in the area,” Cert-SA said.
