Six people died in a taxi rollover crash on Stilldrift road Dannhauser, between Newcastle and Dundee in KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday morning.

Responding to the collision, emergency personnel found that a taxi had lost control and overturned multiple times.
“Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that two patients had sustained critical injuries and eight patients had sustained serious injuries.
“The patients were treated on scene before being transported to the hospital for further treatment.
“Six occupants sustained fatal injuries and succumbed to their injuries before emergency services arrived,” Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service said.
Meanwhile, a 19-year-old male was repeatedly stabbed during a robbery on Umhlanga Rocks Drive in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal on Friday afternoon.
According to Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) a call was logged approximately at 21h18 requesting assistance for the seriously injured male.

“On arrival, our officers discovered the victim lying on the pavement. He was bleeding profusely from multiple stab wounds to his body.
“According to a witness, the teenager was accosted by four males who robbed him of his valuables and stabbed him while he was lying on the ground.
“Netcare 911 paramedics stabilised the man on scene before transporting him to a medical facility by ambulance.”
