One driver had to be extricated from overturned vehicle on the corner of Oakford and Quarry Roads.

Two drivers and a pedestrian were injured following a collision in Redcliffe, KwaZulu-Natal on Monday.
According to Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA), one of their member was on patrol in the vicinity when he came across the collision.
The unit said a reaction officer reported injuries on scene and requested urgent medical assistance from the operations centre at approximately 08:19.
“Our paramedics were immediately dispatched and found a female trapped in a white Daihatsu Sirion. The vehicle was lying on its side in a ditch next to the road. The 38-year-old was extracted and stabilised.
“The 58 year old driver of a silver Mitsubishi ASX and a 28-year-old pedestrian who was struck by one of the vehicles sustained minor injuries,” RUSA stated.
RUSA added that the driver of the silver Mitsubishi ASX informed reaction officers that she was travelling in the direction of Redcliffe from Oakford when the white Diahatsu Sirion turned into Quarry Road from the opposite direction.
The injured were taken to hospital by ambulance.
Meanwhile, a man has been arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Gauteng police spokesperson, Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, said the suspect had an altercation with his girlfriend and when his mother and brother tried to intervene he shot them injuring his brother.
“He then turned the gun on his girlfriend who was declared dead on the scene before fleeing. Later that day a call was received that the same suspect had shot two of his colleagues and burnt their vehicles.”

Nevhuhulwi added that both victims are alive at a local hospital while the suspect has since been arrested and the firearm is also seized.
He is expected to appear before court on Monday on a charge of murder and attempted murder.
