
Emergency service vehicle was left damaged after it hit rocks placed on the N2, KwaZulu-Natal on Monday.
According to Emer-G-Med, an ambulance was travelling on the national highway in the vicinity of the coedmore quarry, when it struck debris in the roadway.
“The vehicle was among several others that struck large rocks believed to have been placed on the roadway by suspects who intend to render the vehicles to a stop before robbing the occupants of their belongings.

Members of the South African Police Services who were patrolling at the time, noticed the several vehicles stopped on the roadway and secured the area before any further criminal activity occurred,” said Emer-G-Med.
Motorists have been urged to be vigilant when travelling at night and to be aware of any debris on the roadway.
