A new witness is set to take to the stand in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial in the North Gauteng high court in Pretoria on Monday.

This will be the ninth witness following cellphone analyst and former police investigator Elphus Mushwana last week.
Mushwana told the court that Meyiwa’s device along with Zandi Khumalo’s couldn’t be downloaded after the incident. He was asked by defence advocate Zandile Mshololo if he knew of any cellphone that had been stolen during the incident.

“Were you ever informed that there is a cellphone that was robbed but also want you to trace in your investigation as I understand you were still a police by then,” Adv Mshololo asked.
“I would not understand what could inform the investigators to let me know about, cause that was not my terrain. I was not not informed,” he responded.
