State witness expected to return to the stand in Meyiwa murder trial

State witness constable Sizwe Zungu is expected to return to the stand in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial on Friday.

Zungu dropped a bombshell in the North Gauteng high court, Pretoria on Thursday telling the court he was with all the accused on the day Meyiwa was killed. 

He said accused number one and three were carrying guns and that accused number two was wearing a hoodie on that fateful day.

Five men are accused of the murder of the soccer star at the Vosloorus home of his then girlfriend Kelly Khumalo.

Zungu said he was suspicious for some time but after playing back the events he was convinced they were responsible for the murder.
