Metsimaholo local municipality has issued an alert with regard to the Speaker, Lucas Fisher’s, cellphone number and social media accounts, which have been hacked by unknown individuals.
Criminals are fraudulently impersonating the Speaker via compromised accounts to solicit money from the public, falsely claiming that payments secure municipal jobs or employment opportunities, according to the involved institution.
The municipality strongly asserts that the Speaker never requests money for jobs or services, and the Metsimaholo Local Municipality does not sell employment opportunities.
