A 34-year-old man is scheduled to appear in the Vereeniging Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

This follows his arrest for being in possession of items believed to be stolen.
According to police reports, on Monday, 26 October, law enforcement officers received an informant’s tip-off concerning a person suspected of possessing an unlicensed firearm and a South African Police Service (SAPS) uniform.
The uniform was reportedly stolen during a recent housebreaking incident in the Sebokeng Zone 7 area over the preceding weekend.
This information prompted the police to take further investigative actions regarding the alleged possession of illegal items.
