She is set to release her most impactful project to date, RUDEBOI, on Friday, April 17.

The single sets the tone for her highly anticipated EP 4PLAY, arriving 5 June, and marks a defining moment in her evolution from a local disruptor to an international creative force.

RUDEBOI, created in Berlin in 2025 during the artist’s first visit, is a transformative track developed with producer Lisa Kida, reflecting a collision of worlds and a fearless embrace of self.

Blending alternative R&B, trap, and hyperpop with a distinctly global edge, RUDEBOI channels a confident, playful spirit while remaining unmistakably Money Badoo, raw, expressive, and unfiltered.

Money Badoo describes her artistic identity as a sonic duality, embodying qualities that are both soft and hard, controlled and chaotic.

Her work, “RUDEBOI,” serves as a tribute to Rihanna, reflecting the influence of her sound, confidence, and unapologetic energy that shaped their upbringing.

“It’s a fun one, about being loved wherever you go and finding your people everywhere. And of course… working hard and getting to the money.”

“Berlin changed something in me. It gave me permission to be louder, softer, and more experimental, all at once,” she expressed.

RUDEBOI encapsulates the essence of living in the moment and emphasizes connection that transcends geographical and linguistic barriers.

Money Badoo is set to achieve a significant career milestone by making her UK debut at The Great Escape Festival on May 15.

This event is recognized as one of Europe’s most influential music showcases, and her performance is supported by the SAMPRA International Showcase Fund.

The performance places her on a global stage at a pivotal moment, bridging the release of 4PLAY with a rapidly growing international spotlight.

“Stepping onto a UK stage feels surreal. For me, it’s not just about performing; it’s about representing where I come from, showing that South African artists don’t have to shrink themselves to be understood globally. We can be exactly who we are,” Money Badoo stated.

Money Badoo is experiencing significant momentum following her European debut at the Reeperbahn Festival, indicating a growing demand for her presence.
